Durham Forge is located in the picturesque village of Durham, PA, where cannonballs used during the Revolutionary War were made in the Durham Furnace from iron found in the
Durham mines. Situated in historic Bucks County, the blacksmith shop is home to a variety of hand-forged, one-of-a-kind pieces. These pieces are forged from steel,
wrought iron, brass, bronze, copper, and stainless steel. From small to large, Blacksmith Wayne Apgar is skilled at turning any size and type of metal into a
magnificent work of art.
Listing all of the items made in the blacksmith shop is nearly impossible. The items on the site are numerous and Wayne can make almost anything from metal.
On this website, you will find the main categories of artwork that Wayne produces. Should you desire a piece of art, please visit the Contact page. Wayne Apgar
forges artwork for clients across North America. He will carefully work with you to determine your exact specifications before any work begins.
If you live within driving distance to Durham Forge, Wayne encourages you to meet with him to discuss your specifications and view other forged artwork
pieces before commissioning him to create that one of a kind piece for you!
You can view much of Wayne's blacksmith work in the left navigation links of this site. Feel free to read more about Wayne in the
About page. Also, this website has links for ongoing
blacksmith classes and events, and there are pages listing many Clients and Testimonials.
In addition, there is a page dedicated to useful Blacksmith Resources and Topics.
